RAW MATERIALS
All concrete mixtures use:

cement CEM I 42,R, which is very suitable for extremely demanding applications and high-quality projects and it is characterized by rapid hardening, quick binding, very high initial strength (fast formwork removal, lifting and transportation) and final strength, as well as excellent rheological features. The general conformance of the cement is established according to the HRN EN 197-1 norm.

Concrete admixture (chemical admixture) to improve the placing and delay binding for up to 2 h. General suitability of the cement is established according to the HRN EN 934-2 norm.

Concrete stone aggregate with 0/4mm, 8/16 mm and 16/32 mm fractions is transported from quarries and controlled pursuant to the HRN EN 12620 norm and TPBK-Annex D. A very important 0/4 mm fraction is obtained by grinding other fractions in our own mill for re-grinding thus obtaining high quality input. Re-ground 0/4 mm fraction is also controlled according to the HRN EN 12620 norm and TPBK-Annex D and has a certificate of factory production control.

The water for concrete preparation comes from two sources: Tap water and return (recycled water) from concrete production process controlled according to the EN 1008 norm. Pursuant to sustainable development principles, MPB d.o.o. recycles concrete in its plants, using installed separators. This way the entire liquid waste remaining after rinsing and washing of mixers and concrete pumps returns to production again, after being recycled. With this closed system, the production waste material is disposed in an environmentally friendly manner and recycled water in no way compromises the quality of concrete.
All raw materials come from reliable suppliers (whose quality control is monitored by authorized institutions) and are delivered with corresponding documentation (technical sheet, safety-data sheet and certification of factory production control, conformance statement).
